The Mopar Cab cover for the 06 Wrangler while it sounds like a great product fails miserably when put to practical use. The ad states that it can be used “top up or top down” and “keep the interior of your Jeep clean and dry”.
The cover works well under dry conditions with the top down and that is the extent of its capabilities. This is the only way that it fits on the Jeep and covers all open windows. It’s not very practical when you live in an area that has unpredictable weather.
Our reason for purchasing the Mopar Cab cover was to put it on at night during the summer over our bikini top. We live in an apartment during the week and do not have covered parking. The bikini top is a hassle to remove and we thought this cover would be a great option for us and we could leave the bikini top on and not worry about taking it down to put the top up and windows in every night.
The top looks great but fails in its fit. With the top up or the bikini top on the cover isn’t long enough on the sides to cover the back windows. As we have found out when it rains the car gets flooded. My advice is to save your money and look at some of the other cab covers on the market. Most expensive obviously isn’t the best in this case.
