Guilty Pleasure
We all have them. Some are more guilty than others. Little pleasures that you don’t necessarily want the rest of the world knowing about.
It could be a band you secretly like that most people find atrocious, or a movie that you just love. Titanic or Sleepless in Seattle anyone?
I got to enjoy a great evening over the weekend with my wife as we kicked back and wallowed in one of our guilty pleasures.
We kicked back with some lovely Thai food, a couple of martini’s and watched a recent release of a Poison DVD. In fact we were outbid on great tickets that would have put us at a Poison concert tonight. The DVD is from their summer tour last year and while we’ve been watching Rock of Love on VH1, (Those guilty pleasures just keep stacking up don’t they?) we haven’t seen them recently.
The DVD is great and if you’re a Poison fan I highly recommend it. We followed that one up with another couple of martinis and the Poison greatest hits DVD which is also worth it, if like us, you were loving the band back in the day.
