Wibiya Bottom Bar
G’day Folks,
I’ve been running the Wibiya bar on the bottom of the site for a few weeks now. It lets you leave notes, get random pages, get translations to your preferred languages and a few other bits and bobs.
Let me know what you think of it. Love it? Hate it? Let me know.
I have a few ideas and am playing with some other plugins that will provide a more social atmosphere to the site, like a simple forum to discuss setups etc. In not way do I want to replace what we have at the iRacing forums.
Cheers,
Shane
New Bling Lust
New item to aim for in my goal of conquering the world and having more time to spend on … well … whatever I damn well please actually.
I’ve been a fan of Doxa watches since reading about them in Clive Cussler novels. However it wasn’t until several years later that I found out you could still get them.
Doxa is the original dive watch and have been around since the 60′s, the company was around much earlier making timepieces but mainly for automotive use.
Occasionally they’ll bring out limited editions, and this particular one caught my eye. If only I had a spare $1,800 kicking around to send to Switzerland.
I’ve always been a firm believer of having good goals to shoot for and rewards for good work.
Looks like I have a lot of work to do and stuff to get going if I’m going to get this reward before they are sold out of this particular model.
Perhaps in the spirit of generating some good Karma, I’ll do a giveaway on Internet Marketers Companion
Cheers,
Shane
iPad Reviews
Well the iPad reviews are starting to trickle in. I liked this one from PCMag.com enough to let you see it here.
It takes you through, quite quickly I might add, the features of the iPad and it is done very well.
PCMag: Apple iPad video review from PCMag.com Reviews on Vimeo.
Here is an excellent review by Stephen Fry. If you’re Aussie or English you will know who he is, especially if you are a Black Adder fan. If you are American you will know his voice at least from the latest Alice in Wonderland film as the Cheshire Cat.
It’s about 4 pages long but well worth your time.
Death Metal Rooster
I am Rooster hear me Rawk!
Every now and again a viral video comes along that is sooooo cool, you just have to spread the love.
With deep guttural growl and pumping beat, I have friends who use this to wake their kids. ( You know who you are )
I give you … Death Metal Rooster.
Top Gear History

I discovered this bit while scouring the interweb for news on the Cheverolet Camaro Convertible, which I’m sure will come out eventually.
In some ways it’s hard to believe that Top Gear has been around for 14 seasons now. The main reason is, that’s not quite true. It’s only the current iteration of Top Gear that has just started it’s 14th season.
The show itself has been around for a lifetime and started out as a typical car show. Here’s the latest Austin Healy, isn’t it grand? Watch as we show how easy it is to park and tell you all about how it achieves 26 mpg.
From a humble car show, Top Gear has grown to be arguably the biggest show in the world. It is viewed by over 350 million people in over 100 countries. That is only the publish stats, there are thousands more that download the episodes and share them around p2p networks.
Take a look and read the history of the show. It’s my favourite TV show and there was a bunch of stuff that I didn’t know.
Cheers,
Shane
PS Remember the uproar around Jeremy Clarkson’s Lorry driver comments. Someone created a game about it and it’s still the most read post on my blog. You can re-visit it HERE
